CONSTRUCTION CERTIFICATE
TEMPLATES
Once you’ve received development
consent from council for your project, you
need to obtain a “Construction Certificate”.
This is an application to council or a private
certifier for permission to commence building
works. A CC Application is then prepared
specifying how construction of the development
will be carried out.
The documentation requirements
for CC Applications differ with every council
but as a general rule they include:
| • |
CC Application
Form. |
| • |
Updated Architectural
Plans. |
| • |
Structural
& Hydraulic Engineering Plans. |
| • |
Stamped Plans
from Your Local Water Authority. |
| • |
Materials
Finishes Board. |
| • |
Specification
of Works Plan. |
| • |
Demolition
Waste Management Plan. |
| • |
Sediment
Erosion Control Plan. |
| • |
Construction
Site Management Plan. |
| • |
Payment of
Council Fees (eg: levies, contributions,
bonds). |
| • |
Any other
specialist reports as may be required
by council. |
Most people ask their architect
to prepare their CC Application. Why pay
thousands of dollars to your architect when
you can do it yourself? This disk contains
easy to use templates that allow you to
cut and paste or change details relevant
for your projects.
